Factories must have approval to operate in Ontario. Approval for your facility is obtained by completing an assessment report and related Government forms. These are then submitted to the Government for review.
Air emissions are a common type of approval. In this situation the facility must determine its emissions to the atmosphere and then calculate the concentration of those emissions at locations around the facility using various mathematical models. Those concentrations are then compared to various Governmental criteria. If the facility is under the criteria then an application for Environmental Compliance Approval can be made.
Among the different types of approval are: noise/acoustical, vibration, waste management and site cleanup of contaminated sites.
- Noise /acoustical vibration
- Waste management
- Site clean up of contaminated sites
